About the Awards:
In March 2006 the BPCC invited members to consider:
- What they value in the companies, which are members of the BPCC?
- What contributes to their competitiveness and leadership excellence?
- What makes them respected by all stakeholders?
In nominating a member in each of existing membership category:
- small (Enterprise Class) -1-10 employees
- medium (Business Class) - 11 to 250 employees
- large (Chairman Class) - over 250 employees
BPCC members were asked to consider the set of values, which they had
previously identified as contributing to ranking a company among the
best.
And the important features considered important were:
- Sustainable sales and net profit growth
- Corporate governance and corporate responsibility
- Dynamic employment and HR development
- Investment policy
- Investment in research and development
- Environmental awareness and sustainable growth
The golden rule was: "nominate a fellow member rather than your own company".
