At a packed COBCOE gala awards ceremony at the prestigous RAC Club
in London's Pall Mall on 24 April evening the BPCC was awarded two
major awards by Sven Goran Eriksson, the England Football team coach.

Over 90 delegates from 20 international chambers attended the ceremony.
The British Polish Chamber of Commerce was awarded for the second year
in succession the 'Best Chamber of the Year' Award and becomes the only chamber in the history of COBCOE to achieve this exclusive award.
The BPCC also was presented with a second award for 'The Best Membership Growth'.
David Thomas, BPCC Chairman, who flew directly from the BPCC's 3rd
Annual Conference and Exhibition to London to receive the awards
commented: 'On
behalf of the Board, the Executive and our entire membership it is
doubly pleasing for me to be in London this evening to receive these
two highly prestigious awards. It is confirmation of our strategy to
develop as a pre-eminent membership based business networking and
services organisation. The fact that COBCOE has broken with tradition
and presented the BPCC with the 'Best Chamber Award' for 2 years
running confirms the strategikc importance Poland has in Europe'.

Speaking on behalf of the Board of COBCOE, Howard Rosen stated: 'On
behalf of the entire COBCOE network and the adjudicating panel I would
like to take this opportunity of congratulating the BPCC. The British
Polish Chamber has set an outstanding example in terms of quality and
level of activity in the last year. They have also demonstrated strong
support for the development of COBCOE'.
The news of the awards was relayed live directly from London to the
Gala award evening at the 3rd BPCC Annual Conference and Exhibition in
Warsaw. Amid cheers and celebration Martin Oxley commented on the
announcement, 'It
is a fantastic and great achievement for us to win these two awards; it
is a credit to the professionalism of the BPCC team - it is a source of
immense pleasure for me to be able to celebrate this news at our Annual
Conference together with our members and international partners.'
